| This course is designed to explore the various and specific ways in which writing is essential to the working life of artists. It is not an English course, but rather a set of readings and written exercises intended to strengthen the student's ability to build arguments about art and to incorporate those arguments into the specific kinds of written documents most integral to a profession in the arts. To accomplish this, we will analyze readings drawn from a variety of sources. This is a writing intensive course that requires 3500 words of graded work. |
