... to the Website of Internet Multimedia Art (AVT483-02) at the George Mason University Department of Art and Visual Technology. The main goal of this course is to provide a working knowledge of creating presentations for the Web using HTML, Javascript, and Flash technology.

On this site you will find a syllabus of the course, outside resources for related and further study, as well as links to the work of our students as the semester progresses.


Final Project Update

All final projects are due no later than Wednesday, December 15. This project will also serve as your final exam. Your final grade will be largely determined by your work demonstrating a mastery of material covered in this class. If you feel that your past projects fell short of the criterion put forth, this is your chance to make up for it.

Also, any prior assignments that are not received by the 15th deadline, WILL receive a failing grade and will count against your final grade.


Dissecting a Flash Presentation - Updated 12/07/04

New Flash Tutorials

These files cover the basics of each component in the Flash Workspace. We will be reviewing these lessons in class over the course of the next couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. PC Users may need to use the Computer Lab to open the workfiles.
